Heather Jo Clark has been photographing professionally since 2006. Her first job took her to Maui, where she photographed people jet skiing. She went on to capture restaurant experiences, underwater adventures while scuba diving, surf-school sessions, and outdoor adventures.

After Maui, Heather returned to Los Angeles and began learning studio photography. Working alongside other photographers, she quickly developed her understanding of lighting and expanded into weddings and events.

While pursuing her fighting career in Albuquerque, Heather also worked in a photography studio, focusing on family portraits and high school seniors. She later explored boudoir photography, a specialty she loves for its ability to help women see their own beauty.

Drawing on her background in theatre, Heather uses lighting and thoughtful direction to bring out each person’s personality. She is passionate about helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. No experience is necessary: she’ll guide you through posing throughout your session.

Heather offers both indoor and outdoor shoots. Her goal is for you to leave feeling confident and saying, “That was so much fun.” Reach out to discuss the shoot you have in mind.
